Almost a home run Sep 12, 2008 I bought this as a gift for my wife and was a little disappointed. The piece matched the photo and description aside from the shine. The amber is dull and lifeless and the silver had some white spots that I had to polish out. I haven't tried polishing the amber as I am not sure what the appropriate method would be. I email the company asking them how to buff it to a nice shine but I received no reply.
